On weekends, Plaza Independencia fills up with the town's food fair: stalls with freshly made dishes, pachamanca, picarones and sweets. It's the best plan to try a bit of everything, and the one many travellers add to their hike to the waterfalls. Prices start at around S/8 at the fair and go up to about S/90 for a country pachamanca for several.
